Round, rifled barrel, rib with address and patents up to 1889, marked '32 S&W CTG' and 'Smith & Wesson' on one side; five-shot cylinder with grooves; frame marked with 'S&W' and 'MADE IN USA' and featuring two stamps. Checkered, hard-rubber grip scales. Serial number '232xxx'.
